When i goit my microsword it was a big clump and i heard if i spread them out they would produce runners, runners would fill the foreground and so on. WELL now they just look straggly to me. is there any tips/tricks to planting them into the substrate or anything to make them look better?

How long have you had them in ur tank
i just got some too ..most of the floater...i throw away but i got "some" plant here and there...the point is to not distrub them.
yeah i try not to disturb mine either, and @JEREMY probably about 8 weeks or so
yep dont disturb them. but micro sword can be kinda tricky. sometimes a slow grower, it can also take a while to get established. let this batch be. but next batch plant as shallow as possible with out it floating to the top as to try to not bury the crown (literaly impossible) but it can help. with this batch it will fix itself. this could be why its taking longer to do its thing.
thanks for the help , and yeah its almost impossibly to not bury the crown, and the roots grow so small
