I don't know what to do.. I have a 55 gal planted tank with Eco Complete substrate, T5 HO 2 bulbs. One 10,000 Daylight 54w and one Colormax. I leave the lights on 7-8 hours per day. I have some Amazon Swords, Java Fern, Anubias and java moss. The problem is that they aren't growing that well. I use Flourish and Flourish Excel once a week. I do water changes every two weeks. My angels and tetras are doing well and growing. This tank has been set up for about 6-7 months. I have a high PH 8.0 which is very hard as I live in Florida and have a well. The edges of the sword's older leaves look frayed and the new growth is growing in a dark color. What do I need to do to get these plants to grow and thrive?? Please advise to what I'm doing wrong. Btw. all the other reading are within normal range.

i also have an issue with high ph out of the faucet it is 8.5
fluval has a peat ball media that you can throw in a bag and put into your filter works great to get it closer to 7. just need to moniter it and make sure no ph swings happen. also plants love water changes so do it once a week with your ferts.
Yea, I'd say Co2 is your limiting factor here. You have good Substrate and Good lighting. get a good sustained source of Co2.
