MY name is Sam and I am from South Jersey. New to the forum but Have found it amazing. All those great pics and video that are posted.
I have had fish tanks off and on for the last 30 years and having gone through a recent heart surgery and off from work for awhile viewing this site sparked my interest. Due to limited room I went a purchased a Marineland 20gal LED starter tank. (now I wish I would have got the 46 bowfront)
I already had some eco-complete and flora-max and flourite. I went to a LFS and got some plants and the below pics are my creation. Of course i will play and play and rip it out and rearrange until i am happy.
The plants are
1 Anubias nana
3 Amazon Swords
6 Bacopa
4 Cryptocoryne, Wendtii
1 Cyperus Helferi
1 Red melon sword
4 Dwarf Hairgrass
4 Ludwigia arcuata
6 Sagittaria, Chilensis
The fish are
6 Neon Tetras
4 Zebra Danios
2 Albino Corys.
I kind of rushed the fish but I let the tank run for three days and used Seachem Prime and API Quick Start and then added the fish on the third day. Today is day four and I have lost 2 of the danios. Everyone else seems to be doing fine. I am going to check water chem tomorrow and do a partial water change if necessary.
I am just concerned the LED light is not bright enough but I will wait a month before changing it.

Thanks for the reply Peter. I'm not really into the LED I thought it would like brighter. They do have a another light set with more LED's and more lumens that aren't that terrible in price so I may buy that set.
