new filter
I recently purchased a fluval canister filter for my tank, it turns the tank over about 8 times an hour.how long does it take to build up the beneficial bacteria.I still have the filter that came with the tank going until I know the bacteria is built up in the fluval.I decided to get the fluval when my water was cloudy and wouldn't clear up.I don"t use any kind of chemicals in my tank.I only put in treatments for sick fish when needed and still do regular water changes. The water has cleared up very nicely since the fluval.
