Back in late Feb I got my first tank since I was, like, twelve and now I have the newb problem of having no clue what plants I have. Anyone care to hazzard a guess?

#1 looks like melon sword. not sure about the rest.

For the first one, personal research has turned up C. Wendtii Red. In my picture it had been trimmed right down because the taller leaves--which did have some red--were fast approaching the top of my Fluval Edge ceiling. This is the site that made me think that:

http://www.aquariumplants.com/Cryptocoryne_Wendtii_Red_Giant_Mother...

the 1st looks like crypt wendii green the 2nd looks sorta like Shinnersia rivularis 'Weiss-Grün' and the last looks like Hygrophila polysperma

The second and third one are the same plant from the top and then front on so you could see the leaves and growth pattern.

With reservations for my spelling...

The firstt was, I think Lagendaria something...

The stem plant looked to me like Hygrophila polysperma...

The cluster in the gravel might be Lileopsis something (else), but I wouldn't put money on it...

Just guesses really...

A trip to the lfs has told me that the second and third plant is Hygrophilia Pisces and the exact variety of Crypts that I have are still undetermined.
