organic soilless potting mix?

New here and I was wondering if i can use an organic soilless potting mix(google it for more info)as a substrate?It was the only available thing in my local hardware store.I'm really interested in dirting my tank but I can't seem to find miracle gro products here.Please reply cause I really want to have a planted tank.

Doesn't have to be miracle gro. As long as it's organic soil it'll work
