Otto Catfish breeding info needed.

Okey so over the the past few weeks one of my otto catfish has been very very fat, I tried vasting for 3 days and the otto ws stiff very big so im wondering if it could be egg bound. What I want to know is how long would an otto catfish become egg bound before laying the eggs.

oto catfish has never been bred in captive so your looking at internal parasite.
