Parasite?

My female blue ram looks like she has a white string coming from her ass. I think it's a parasite. Just wondering if anyone knows treatment methods. It my first time encountering this. Thnx

I used general API cure on my rainbow fish because it had the symptoms of white stringy feces on the back of the box but it did not work at all. My local fish store recommended metronidazole so i tried it and it worked great. The one i used was the brand seachem. Its about 6 bucks, so not too expensive.
