plant algae, what is it? cure?

Hi This has just appreared over the last week?

Only had the tank 8months,Please help me get rid of this ;P

The Excel has worked a treat!!! only been two days and the algae is going orange, guess this is a good sign!?

Im' using the spot method and targeting the bad areas.

I have one alage eater but hes doesn't really eat it.. not sure why he jsut really goes after the slime on the glass.

Finding the shrimp hard to find in New Zealand,do they have a specific name?

The tank is now doing great! thanks to everyone that helped... seems C02 and excel was the trick, i did also lower the lights to 8 hours a day.
