Plant ideas?

So I am stuck in a rut... I can't decide what plant to use as a background plant in my 50 gallon. I have dirt, sand cap, and i only have 64 watts on the tank right now, but can go to 128 if I need to. Currently I have jungle val, italian val, and dwarf sag on one side with anubias tied on the driftwood. I have crypts spread throughout the tank, but cannot figure out what plant to put in front of the filter intank and heater. I would like to stay away from stem plants, but it could be an option if someone sells me on it... ;) I would like a bushy, dense plant that is VERY easy to care for...

Any ideas? Send em' my way!!!!

water sprite to wisteria in the back is good and it will get bushy.

some wisteria, i would personally just put the val in front of it, but maybe you can try some larger swords

So I got Scarlet Temple, but it is all melting, and I am afraid I am going to lose all of it... This sucks. I had Temple plants before in gravel, and they grew like weeds.... I sure hope this will pull through! This is definitly the plant that was missing in the tank! The red leaves are attracive, and the lighting does not have to be that bright to keep the color.

Sure hope they don't fry... Any advice to stop it from happening?

My temple is in stasis. It has never grown, but never dies. I've never seen anything like it. Not 100% about Scarlet Temple, but most red plants have higher needs.

Check out Ludwigia peruensis. It has a similar look to Scarlet temple & might be a little more forgiving. Not that much though.

water sprite is a good backround plant it gets nice and full. but my favorit is broad leaf ludwigia it gets a dark redish color and will probably grow tall in your tank and not bushy beacause of your light amount.
