So I'm looking into starting up my first ever planted tank. I've done regular tanks in the past when I was younger and I've been interested and youTubing planted aquariums for over a week now..
I want to start off pretty simple and see what I can accomplish then get more advanced. Was reading up on substrates and such and I saw Eco Complete was mentioned a lot. Is that a good starting substrate to use?
I won't be doing Co2 but I think I'll put "Flourish" drops in in and stuff like that..
Most likely using a 20 High because that's what I already own and don't have much room in my apartment that has a 50" led tv and my drums set up, with a couch, all in the living room area...
I know it's best to go wide and not high.. but for now it'll have to do... or I may try to see any options I could have if I find a larger/longer tank on sale...
Overall I'm looking forward to this like a 12 year old that just started puberty so any little info would help. Just don't overload my brain from the get go ! Thanks guys
