the plants feed off the waste of your fish and purify the water. They also make the fish feel safer because of hiding places and stuff. Your not gona have to do as many water changes and it really balances out your tank.

We don't have to refame? From anything! I think it is a good question for someone who is interested and wondering about the whole plant thing! Give people a break! You shouldn't have to scroll through every post to see if ur question has already been brought up or answered. Don't respond to every single post , just to respond, and maybe you won't be so annoyed! Good question in the right section! I agree with the post above this one.
