Can anybody tell me if this is the right way to plant anubias nana ps. i have the rhizomes in the dark under the artificial driftwood

Just don't bury the rhizome and you'll be fine. They don't really feed from their roots, they anchor to things with their roots and feed from the water column with the rhizome - so if you bury it, you smother it and it rots. You can tie it to rocks/driftwood/decorations or wedge it between stuff and it does great.
