planting aquarium question

I have one question 

  • can I use aquatic pond soil for my aquarium plants ?

  • like use it as the gravel on the bottom ?

U can use it yes. Not sure if it requires a cap. But most n e dirt without chemical fertillezers added can be used in ur aquarium

Thank you Peter It is fertilizer free I use it to incubate reptile eggs also .
