plants grow different in different settings.
Thought I would share this little oddity to shed light on stuff that many people new to the hobby get, and that is the crazy amount of difference in a appearance a plant can get from differences in its environment. shown in the picture above is a rotella plant i purchased about 2 to 3 weeks ago the top arrow is pointing at the new growth which as you can see is quite different from the older part of the plant (the bottom arrow) . pretty cool huh? haha :)
