Pregnant German blue ram

So I already had a male GBR in a 20 high and I wanted to get a female for him to see if they would mate. I went out to get a female and it turns out she was already pregnant. When I got her in the tank the male and her paired off and seem to be doing fine together. I was just wondering when she lays the eggs is he gonna try and kill em off or help take care of em.

if they are bonding pair they well breed and be fine but it may take a couple spawns for them to get it right so don't be afraid about that just make sure you check your water parameters.

chiclids are good parents, eating the fry shouldnt be a problem, then again first time parents are unpredictible
