Rainbow fish Water conditions Help

Hey there fish people

I have have been keeping rainbows for around 4 months now it is purely a rainbow only tank. the tank is quite heavily planted with a mixture of live plants. i run pressurized C02 & to T5 bulbs. now the question i have is what is the right conditions for these guys. i have been using RO water due to an algae problem i was having my tap water contains 60 PPM of Nitrate. but am now considering going back to tap as i think some of my plants r lacking some of the metals they need although i add minerals to my RO and i do use ferts. My tanks is running at
Temp 25 Deg
No3 40
No2 0
PH 7.0 - 7.5
KH 120 - 180
GH 180

Does this seem about right to u. the reason i ask is i have recently got white spot!!! no idea how my tank 200L i am using 2 external fluval filters 305 & 405 weekly water changes they live like kings lol. so i was wondering if using C02 during the day when lights r on is causing a PH swing during the night causing stress & then White Spot

1. First off all, I know don't why you would use RO in the first place as rainbowfish can live/adjust to any ph range.

2. Use Prime if your tap has a bit of nitrate. Tap also have element to help the plants.

3. With Pressuirze CO2, turn off at night. I don't see a reason for you to run it all night. It's a waste.

4. White spot is call ick and is cause by many factors. Treat the tank or fish ASAP.

For treating ick use mardel coppersafe witch contains copper sulfate very effective when treating ick and you treat it ounce a month it works great also put some aquarium salt in the tank to. Moniter your plants though cause the mardel stuff may bother your plants. If it startes to, do a 25% water change and the plants will come back, Hope i can help.
