raising salmon fry?

i setting up a 20- 25 gallon tank in my classroom to raise salmon fry from egg to smolt. the tank has an aqua clear 30 filter, old elite air pump  and hood with a light. I plan to add some rock work and some native plants. my question is will the tank stay cold enough? if not how could i make it colder?

just don't put a heater on and it should be fine.
