So I've been thinking about setting up an 8 gallon planted tank. And I want beautiful exoctic fish, so I deciced why not try Rams? So I want to know other people's experience with these fish, and what are there water parameters!

Thanks!

i dont know if "8 gallons" was a typo and you meant 80 gallons, but 8 gallons is definatelly not big enough for rams. for bolivian rams you need at least 25+ gallons and even for the smaller ones such as german blue rams, gold rams and electric blue rams (which are all basically the same species) you need at least a 20 gallon.

in an 8 gallon, a pair will likely become stressed and die.

Thanks, didn't know! :)

no problem, sorry if i kinda bursted your bubble

ok 8 gallons are way to small for rams get a 20g and well talk

as i said befor u can probably fit 2 in a 10 gal but thats it
