I´m from Paraguay I did use the dirt drom my back yard my dirt is really red very good to roses grass etc., cleaned a bit with water overflowing the bucket then straight to the tank over a hig amount of little rocks then a layer of one inch river stones because comet goldfish.... 

well it ended really well after all cloudy water was gone a month or more later in the betta and guppy tank but in the goldfish tank not so well you now those plant destroyer asshole that happen to be pretty for me.... se my photos all the last ones
