My 2 jewel cichlids had about 80 fry. I have them in a 45 gallon community tank. I want to keep as much fry as possible. my questions are
1) How do tell witch is the mom so she can be with her fry
2) Can the fry survive in a 10 gallon tank on their own
3) what's the best way to get the fry out of the tank (reminder there are lots of rocks and structure's in my tank so be realistic)
Thank you so much!

By the way i have a batch of red jewel egg in my cichlid tank and the parents are doing a good job of protecting the eggs a few days more and they should be swimming freely i will get some pics up when i get back home.
so the parents shouldnt be together after the fry are swimming?
Yes they will be fine until they get to tue point the want to spawn then they will get aggressive to find there mate
