Ryukin Tank

Does anyone have experience with planted tanks and goldfish? I'm looking to start a 75 gal Ryukin tank and would love to have it planted. I know they will pick at the plants and eat a bit here and there so I was wondering what plants would be best to use in this tank.

Also, does anyone know of a good forum specifically for fancy type Goldfish like Ryukin, Ranchu, ect. I've been looking for lots of info and haven't been able to find anything great.

anubias bateri will do for them......goldfish likes to eat duckweeds

Love the Anubias....going to stay away from the Duckweed though. Once it's in there, it's almost impossible to get rid of!

I had a 29 with 3 common Goldfish in it for awhile. they seemed to eat everything I put in there, even Java Fern, never tried Anubias though. Good luck.

i'm about to plant a ryukin 90gallon tank with anubias, java fern, java fern windelov, rotala, jungle val, and amazon swords. i'll have duckweed and crystalwort at the top. will let you know what survives. planting tank friday, put fish in it in maybe 3 weeks.
