Sons plants are fading away

HELP Our plants are fading away we need help. We have a 20 gallon tank with two six-inch bulbs they are Marineland 5100K. Our substrate is from Flourish. Some of our plans have some brown green algae but not a lot of plants nothing on the tank just on the plants. We're currently using liquid CO2 today and liquid plant food flourish once a week. We can email video or pics if needed. Please help.

how long do u run ur lights?

We are runin 2 6" 5100K lights about 10-12 hours a day.

How long has the tank been running? How long ago did u add the plants? Are the plants that are melting putting out new leafs? Also lower te time ur lights are on to like 8-9 hrs to see if that helps ur algae problem

The tank has been planted for about 4 months. The tank has been up and running for over 1 year then we switched to planted. The plants are just fading with no new leaves. It's not all the plants the java ferns are doing good. I'll cut back on the lighting.

Do u know what the plants tht are melting are called? Are the other plants stem plants or more like swords ? What's happening to u is weird and has me very intrigued Java is ok but others melting Very interesting
