Tank Planning

Hey everyone, this is my first post :)

I just set up a new 160L planted tank, I want a tropical community tank and was curious as to what plants or what fish to get :)

everyones opinions will be greatly appreciated :) thank you

What kind of lights do you have and are you going to be running co2? For fish for sure get some Cory's anykind are great so long their in grips of 5 or more

i have two t5 lights, 13v and they are white :)
I was going to get them but i have gravel and doesn't that wear the bristles on their nose?

i was thinking maybe a school of white cloud, a school of neon/cardinal tetra and a school of siamese algae eaters with couple of gouramis

The white cloud school with a tetra school will be nice you can trow in a small school of glowlight tetras and maybe some fancy guppies if u like them. For the Siamese algae eaters one they hit about 1 1/2" to 2" they start harassing other fish and stresses them out jus my experience with them. I'm pretty sure ppl have kept them in community tanks no problem

already got dirt on the bottom :) i do add the plants after the tank is cycled?

The plants don't need to be added after the cycling, as a matter of fact I'd pick a few to start with and add now to help get the whole tank balanced faster for fish. Plants need food etc. and they sometimes get that from waste of food and fish but it its planted you should be okay adding all of your plants right away. Do wait a week or 2 until you add the fish and add them slowly. Best of luck with your new tank!
