I found this product on the Petsmart website, Tetra Algae Control, it states in the description that it fights Blue-Green algae (even though its not an actual algae), and got 5 star reviews. There are, however, only 2 reviews, none of them stating a blue-green algae problem. Do you think this new product would solve my bad case of cyano? I've already tried blackouts, water flow adjustments, and got no results. Any other suggestion if you doubt the use of this will work?Tetra Algae Control product

O2 is poison to cyano.  Put an airstone on or treat the infected areas with Hydrogen Peroxide.  When hydrogen peroxide reacts with water the result is 2H2O and O2.  You can also use an antibiotic.
