Hey all, i have got 3 angelfish in a 55 and was wondering when, if ever, the fish will stop Brawling, will it be when they mate or will i have to get a mate for the one left out of all the fun ;)

Even mated angels will have marital disputes that can get nasty. I tried inserting a glass partition to protect my female that was being picked on by her partner but this only made things worse. She became severely depressed and probably would have died if I didn't remove the partition. Just make sure you provide a hiding place for the bullied Angel.
I have 11 Angels in my pond and they have a strict hierarchy or pecking order. This will play out in your tank. In a pond or in the wild an Angelfish can simply swim away when chased but in a tank its cruel to keep a bullied fish exposed. Dustin successfully kept two pairs in a tank separated by lots of plants for years and I've done the same thing but eventually decided to give the tank over to the dominant pair. They won't stop brawling and you probably should give the tank over to a single pair at some point - if, in fact, you have a pair. They could be all one sex.
Thanks and there are 2 that are in the process of mating and 1 left out and sort of pushed away by the other 2, probably protecting their mating area
