Thoughts on keeping a German Blue Ram in a 10 gallon

I have a empty planted 10 gallon. Was going to get a pair of the rams. Eventually try to breed them. Will I be able to keep them in that size tank and could I possibly stock other fish like cories or cardinal tetras.
