so a while back i picked up a couple golden apple snails (more like 6) andd they grew and grew and ultimatley reproduced wich creeped my wife out really badly and i had to take them out of my tank they currently reside in my turtle tank where the turtle dont touch them but im still left with the snails and i dont know where i can take them to make matters worse i recently picked up some moneywort that had snail eggs in them and now i have little brown snails running every where is there anything i can do humanly to get rid of them maybe a snail eating fish that wont grow over three inches?

clown loaches are great at eating snails. however they will not discriminate which snail to eat and they grow much larger than 3 inches Also they will just eat any snail they can fit in their mouth. you can try puffer fish they should eat snails (usually 80 percent of their diet would be snails). hope something works for u. Puffer fish wont get larger than 3 inches. They will pick on other fish, and possibly kill them if you dont have enough LOS (line of sight) items in the tank ( aka plants, rocks, walls, ornaments) that the fish can hid behind.
ive wanted a dwarf puffer for so long!! now may be the time i do have plants and wood in my tank but i mostly worrie about the guppies i have some times the males have bits of there tail nipped off and im not sure wich fish is doing it so to get a dwarf puffer it might make things worse
