How often do you guys change your water??? And What Percent???

yeah trickling water in like that would be perfect , but mimic nature by doing massive water changes no if you test the water in a fast stream and test agin an hour later or the next day it will be pretty much the exact same water chemistry
I would think folks might be surprised how much the water will change after say a heavy rain or when it gets near a tributary or different type of river bed.  The heat thing is a killer though.  I've seen chemical plants use water for cooling and get in trouble for bumping it too might compared to the local water.  If a fish swims into a 5 degree jump it will put it in shock and float to the top.  ;-)
