What is a good starting tank size for my first planted tank?

I have 1 tank already with 5 danios and 3 otos that I plan to put in my tank I want for Christmas. I just need to know the right size of tank to get.

a 10 gallon would push it,your best off with 20g +, good size would be a 30g adequate size and you can add a couple more fish if you have good filtration.
