I will provide as much info as I can.

This plant was bought at a local fish store (lfs) many years ago. I nearly lost it at the begging of this year. Many years ago this plant was large. Wtih a crazy root system too! The plant was at least 4-5 inches high and 5-6 inches wide. With leaves in every which direction . (Sorry I cannot seem to be able to get a picture on my comp. of it at that size. Hopefullly it wont be necesary!) After I changed to a dirted sub. It has started to grow back. Slowly (It may have stopped?) but surely. The leaves used to be much wider, however they have seemingly adapted and are now narrow. I am thinking it is a sword of some type? Can anyone please help my ID this wonderful plant?

Tank stats-

20 Gallon (High)

Dirted with miricle grow potting mix organic

Tank has been set up for 5 years +

Lighting is provided by a dual lamped single unit. 30 watts total - standard lighting *This plant lived through 20Watts as well.

If you need any other info please let me know! =)

Oh and if you would please excuse the algae, it seems to have gotten a bit out of hand in that corner!

yea its most likely a amazon sword just keep it in god growing conditions so that only time will tell

Thanks Chris. I am a bit disapointed as it has seemed to stop its rapid growth. I think my problem is lack of light. (1.5 watts per gallon)

Oh yes, I forgot that was true low light=higher growth and high light = lower.... Or I may be impacient as well!
