Yep, and I have 7 babies that are surviving so far (the jewels) their parents are beautiful so I'm hoping they will be too, if they survive my aggressive tank.
haha ya its a bluegill. Kept him for like a day and then my parents made me return him :( He should be in the lake anyway but he was awsome. He became good friends with my african leaf fish in my profile pic
by the way nice jewels! what type do u have and what do u feed them?
My jewels are a breeding pair and JUST Bred!! They eat High Quality Cichlid Pellets as a staple and occasional Blood worms and Live brine shrimp and Blackworms.

Mine (I have 3, 2 golden 1 regular) the regular is like 4-5 Years and like 7-8 Inches goldens are like 3 years and are like, 6-7 Inches!
nice fish!!! i actually bought that channel cat at my only local fish store when it was about 2inches long, had it for about 5 months now.
