This is my first attempt at at dirted tank. This 10g tank was set up yesterday (March 17 2013). Setup includes: 1.5" MG Organic Choice potting soil Capped with .5 " of Flourite Red, then covered with .5 " black sand, Fluval Aquaclear 30 filter, 200w Heater (will be removed as soon as warm weather arrives), DIY CO2 injection, River rock, Water Sprite, Java fern, Hygrophila compacta, Dwarf Hairgrass, and Ludwigia Peruensis.

Tank was setup and running as a QT tank and was fully cycled. I Kept the filter media from this cycled tank and placed it in the new aquaclear filter, so hopefully it will cycle quickly. Current plans are for this tank to be a red cherry Shrimp breeder tank.
