You're right, this is incredibly original. I would have thought up something much more creative to do with the riccia as well as a floating mat. Maybe incorporate some seed sprouts or semi-aquatic plants growing on top of the mat and sending their shoots down like that ancient mayan hydroponics system? yes, that is what I shall do. Probably from the seeds that come in birdseed mix. that would look cool.

Damn... Well sorry for stealing your idea man, I should have at least stood up the the quality of awesome bowlness you would have created first had I not just done this poorly executed toilet bowl of a riccia bowl, if I were going to steal your idea, like I just did.
