I set up two 10" bowls using Dianna Walstad's method I followed this document http://www.atlasbooks.com/marktplc/00388Shrimp.pdf

I got the bowls from Micheal's they had the best price when compared to AC Moore and Hobby Lobby.

I used left over Organic Choice Potting Mix and Pool Filter sand from setting up my 40 gallon tank.

Specs:
2 10" fish bowls (bubble bowl)
Lighting is a 5.5" clip on work light with a 15 Watt, 6500K CFL and sunlight from a western facing window, so they get strong afternoon and evening sun. I only turn the light on when I think about it and I'm home.
Organic Choice Potting mix with sand on top per Walstad's directions

Red cherry shrimp and pond snails.

native collected arrowhead
native collected cup-scale grass (?)

They have been setup for about 1 year.
