This is my newest betta addition, thought at first that he had gold dust because he's quite shiny and almost a gold color in places, but he's been with me for over a month now and seems to be doing fine. His fins look quite pathetic, been giving him daily small doses of Melafix to ward off fin rot.
Lives in a 2.5gal tank, daily 50% water changes because the ammonia spikes very easily in this one. Maybe the gravel? I've only ever used marble substrates.
