Feel free to ignore me, but some constructive criticism, you have too much substrate in the front. I'd make it elevated in the back and keep it around the level you have it on the left side in the front. Having a good hardscape can set you up for an amazing tank, and I quite enjoy everything else you've done.

As far as plant ideas go, you could try and find some Downoi (Pogostemon Helferi). Another plant that could work nicely is Anubias Nana Petite. If you want a carpet you could try fissiden fontanus, it's rather slow growing but in the long run you'll be thankful of that. (it's not terribly picky about lighting/co2 either)
