Hi, I am a beginner/intermediate aquatic hobbyist from the good ol' USA. I joined this site in order to seek wisdom from experienced fishtankists, and maybe after i get some experience, I can offer my advice as well. Nano tanks are my thing. The smaller and more intricate, the more appealing it is to me, but I do like bigger tanks too.
My current set-up:
Fluval Spec V 5.6 gallon Nano Tank
Hardscape: Flourite Dark, misc. dark stones, Malaysian driftwood
Critters: Pygmy Cory Cats, an otto, amano shrimp, thai micro crabs, nerite snail
Flora: Dwarf Pennywort (Hydrocotyle Sibthorpioides), Windolev Java fern, Glossostigma, Dwarf baby tears,ludwigia repens, rotala indica
My previous set-up:
8 Gal. nano tank, 5 Espie Rasbora, 5 Chili Rasbora (super-tiny fish=no overstocking), 1 Bristlenose Pleco, Ghost shrimp, Red Cherry shrimp, 2 "Blackberry" shrimp, 1 Amano (Algae-eating) shrimp, 1 "Hairy" Trumpet snail, 1 Black Olive Nerite Snail
Lace Java Fern on driftwood, Java Moss on rock, Ludwigia Repens, Rotala Indica, Cardinal Plants, Dwarf Red Lily, Duckweed, duckweed, duckweed!
