I just got into the Hobby of Cichlids a few months ago. I had a saltwater setup back in 2000 and didn't want to deal with that anymore. I got a few oscars around 2002 and they were very cool untl a power outage while on vacation ended them in 2004. After moving in 2012 I wanted to start the 125g back up but with a new type of fish. I cichlids sounded cool and they look great. I started doing some research and chose Mbunas to start with. I never knew there was so much about them and thats why I grabbed another 125g for 40$ at a yard sale. Needs a 40$ repair to frame but then it is going to be my Haps/Peacock tank. They have tons of personality and since I work from home most days I enjoy watching them. I hope to learn and teach some folks as I progress through the hobby. Check out my youtube channel for all my updated videos.
