so i have been at the hobby for just abt 6 months. i have 2 tanks and saving for a 3rd. neither of them are planted. i plan on making my new one ( 40 or 55 gal) my first planted. 

currently i have a 29 gal fresh with 4 glass cats, 5 cory cats (3 albino, 1 julii, and 1 panda), 2 dwarf gouramis (1 neon and 1 powder blue), and 1 albino bristloenose pleco.  so far, my albinos are full grown i think, at near 3 inches.my gouramis are reaching their max growth also, but, all my other fish still have a few inches to go. although, this is my show tank. i'll put up pics and vid when i can take them-only cam is on phone.

also, i have my 20 gal. this is my favorite tank. it has my favorite fish and is in my room. this tank has 2 Leopard Ctenopoma, one about 1 inch, the other less than. also, i have 2 tiger barbs and one green tiger barb. these guys are at about half their growth potential. i have a clown pleco who is 2 inches and 5 black neon tetras who are all about average tetra size.

each tank is equipped with an Aqueon Quietflow filter (125 gph and 200 gph respectively) as well as florescent lighting, and tetra whisper 10 air pumps. i have a stone in my 20 and a bubble curtain in my 29. also i am running different substrates in each tank. my 20 has black aquarium sand and my 29 has a dark/light gravel mix.

because i have a lot of fish in each tank, i test my water 2x a  week and usually have to do a 20%-25% change (5 gal from each tank) once every 10 days, or 3x a month. this keeps my fish happy, healthy and super hungry!
