shrimp question

I I have a cauliflower shrimp that I purchased the other day and he was clear now he is red. does anyone know what this means ?

I have had my tank for a while now at least a month and i noticed that my amazon swords were growing like crazy and now theyy have taken over the background of my tank . The problem is i am noticing that there color is fading and also there leaves look like they are being eaten, is there a possibility that my fishare eating the leaves or the snails in my tank. i have two haraquin rasboras' 5 male guppies, tree females ans over 16 babbie guppies, also the snails are ram horn snails. Planted aquarium update

I have decreased the population of my snails, my amazon swords are growing like crazy, and my BBA has decressed. I now have 8 babie guppies, I will post pics soon. Thank you everyone for The help:-)

snail problem ?

I have been monitoring my tank for a couple weeks and i just notice yesterday that there is a snail on my java fern. I checked my tank today and now i have 3, should i keep these or get rid of them i think they came from my java fern. Any help would be great.

planted 6gallon aquarium

My tank is almost complete, i have 2 harlequin rasboras, two female guppies, one male show guppy, and three baby guppies. I have two amazon swords, two java ferns, and some dwarf grass. I would like to add a cherry shrimp, does anyone have any ideas what other fish i could add to my tank that wouldn't eat my baby guppies. I was thinking maybe some cardinal tetras, or should i just wait till my babies are older? any help would be greatly appreciated.

first planted aquarium

I want to start a planted aquarium. I have a 6gallon bow front tank that i had 8 neon tetras and two rummy nose and one dwarf spotted plecostumus. I had an ich outbreak but i controlled it and killed it off using nox-ich. unfortunatly the parisite took all but two of my fish, I now have one neon and one pleco. I would love to start a planted aquarium and i just need a few pointers, like what kind of plants would you recomend for my tank. I am going to pick up a pice of mopani drift wood and…
