i currently have a t8 15 watt full spectrum bulb on 10 gallon is there any high output t8 bulb that will give off medium light to my aquarium?

Im not sure but if u just get 2 t8 6500k u should be at med to high light. With 1 t8 u will hve low light at substrate and med light near the middle to top of tank.

No hoods are the 1s u get with a aquarium kit. U get a new light fixture at home depot then build a canopy around that which then would e ur hood.if u want to keep ur hood that u have u have to stick with a single bulb t8

I get my 6500k bulbs at lowes $8 for two bulbs and those are 4 foot bulbs.
I've had my planted tank for 8 months.
