Hi guys, some questions.
Dirt has been an interest of mine and I want to know if it's really worth the trouble?
I know that you can go buy the correct dirt for about a million dollars a pound but are there any cheep alternatives?
And any tips on prepping for dirt?

Thanks
Hunter

Well hunter if done correct its worth the effort put in. Dirt isnt 1mill a pound its 6bucks for 50 pounds.! Ever heard the saying cheap as dirt? Just go to homedepot or other gardening store and get miracle grow organic potting soil. Depending on size should cost 4-8 bucks. Next sift all the dirt to remove as much wood chips as u can. After that look up mineralizing soil. Once u mineralize ur soil just place a later of it (1") in ur tank then cap it with watever u want add plants and lights for plants and u have a dirted tank. (Week1 do daily wc50%)
