When I first saw the "stressed" post I thought it was curtains.  Not that I'm suggesting you're totally out of the woods, but I think its time to breath a sigh of relief and light up that cigar.

Did you say they're only feeding off the male? According to the video Mike sent the fry are attracted to dark colors. So maybe this is why they prefer the male. I'm gonna have tons of questions for you. They'll all be one word or one sentence answers and if you can't answer some its no big deal. Just keep in mind though that the fate of the free world may depend on it.

My 6 Discus are beating the crap out of each other and they're only sharing the tank with 2 Rams and about 10 other Guppy-sized fish. I've provided plenty of hiding places and even divided the tank into two with rock barriers but the cruelty continues. To be fair its only bad when I feed them, but I feel sorry for the two fish on the low end of the pecking order. They're turning black while the dominant ones are a brilliantly colored. I may be forced to move them (the losers) out. I guess the pairing off process is in full swing.

Congratulations on your new additions Sidney!!!

thank you and I will be prepared for your questions haha

and to the totem pole thing it happens in every discus tank i have two females that are low on the totem pole but i love them and no one picks on them too bad. They are their for each other. They are runts for sure though they barely grow compared to my young red marlbolo male. He defiantly thinks he  is big and bad haha
