iv had a discus tank for 1 1/2 year now at 86 to 87 degrees and the only plant i have found to take the heat is amazon sword plant and some other swords so if anyone has a idea of plants i can use it would help
Discus love RO water. RO water = no plants. A bare bottom tank without plants is what Discus love. Erect a statue in the middle of the tank and they'll lay eggs on it. Also, make sure the Discus come from a local breeder and not from SE Asia. Can you breed Discus in a tank with plants. Sure. But thats over my head.
u can use a anubis plant it aevery hardy plant or a cypt that should be able to take the heat i know there more but that what i have in my tank so hopefuly i help u out and if any Q just hit me up peace out
thanks ill try those plants out
