I would just get organic miracle grow potting soil. U can get a 50lbs bag for like 6bucks .The 1 u talk about is just over priced dirt. And dirt should be really cheap if not free ie : "cheap as dirt". With what they're charging for teir dirt might as well get Ecco But to answer ur question yes it's good and can be used for aquariums.

Thanks Peter yea I really had no choice it was all I could find even at earl mays I stoped at a cuple diffrent places no one carried the MGOC Wich I was bummed
