congrats! just make sure to to be careful when dirting an established tank.  water chemistry changes drastically and can kill tank inhabitants

(LED) ill be taking out 11soutern platties and a clown loach. I'll be placing them in a bucket with some of its own water and filter. A week should do. Think I've seen enough dirted tank vid.

to help initially i would suggest mineralizing the dirt first and adding certain rock dust to help with minerals.  if you dont know what that is you can do a search on our forums for a post i did a while back or search online.

then while the first week or two of the tank being filled I would suggest a good amount of water changes. eventually by the end of one month after dirting you may be down to 1 water change a week

who knows =P  but yes you may have seen many dirted tank videos.

(Led) Thank u brother. The organic dirt I used has the proper minerals minus clay to last 4mnths. After that I'll have the propel set. Iron, calcium etc
