New fish
Pretty excited about my new fish, Been looking at jaguar cichlids online for quite some time now wanting one in a bad way! lol then a friend of mine says "hey I got this fish thats to big for my tank" and then goes on to say that its the jaguar. HELLZ YEAH!!! I WANT IT!!!!! lol got it today and he is just gorgeous in my tank! got one pic up and I'm sure their will be more coming. check em out :)

Not a good fish to keep unless you have other aggressive in tank. Also get quite large. 12 inches or so max. So anything less than 55 is too small.

I got him with other south american cichlids that are about the same size. in a 75 gallon. the size is the whole reason i got it lol he was too big for a friends tank.

Hey John I just wanted to let you know that the Jaguar cichlid I got, I had to move him out of my cichlid tank because he wasn't aggressive enough LOL My Texas Cichlid was tearing his to shreds! I just moved him into my less aggressive tank that has a couple of jack dempseys, plecos a big bala shark and a big irredescent. so we'll see what happens lol
