not too sure the name. I trimmed the leafs leaving behind some and hope it grow good roots. Not dirt tank but black sand substrate. Sorry guys. New to the forum. How am i suppose to post photo here?

Oh... ya... I have those plants... If they deteriorate to the base of the plant, just see if you can pull them... Otherwise, if they're deteriorating on the leaf, just cut it back until the bad stuff is gone.  It looks like that's what you've been doing.  I have those, that's what I do, and then new one's start to come up... No big deal it's a fast growing plant.

Ya, no problem!  I love helping people out with the aquarium hobby when I can.   It's hard to find people who have the interest in the aquariums, so it's nice to talk to people here. (:
