Old T5 Lighting:
(using 3x actinic + 1x 10000k bulbs)
New LED (DIY GU10) Lighting:
It looks 100x better in person, very happy with the change.
It looks great. I bought a set a year or so ago and they were so dim that I had to replace them with some 6500K lights that seem to be doing well. I have a single water weisteria that has nearly taken over my tank. If I didn't go in and mow it down every two weeks or so, there would not be enough room for the fish to swim. What LEDs did you use? I might consider the change.
Nice!
These are GU10 LEDs off ebay. Ive recently made the switch to LED also using 3w bridgelux chips and like it so much im switching my other tanks for it too.
